Chitwan - National park

Chitwan is located in the southwestern part of Province No. 3 with Bharatpur, the fourth largest city of Nepal, as its district headquarters. It covers an area of 2,238.39 km2 (864.25 sq mi). Chitwan is located in West Nepal and it’s well known for it’s warm weather (we are talking about 30 degrees!), it’s safaris and it’s cool atmosphere.

 

Chitwan is one of the best national parks in Asia. It is well-known for its abundant wildlife and top-notch tourist hotels, which offer the chance to observe animals in their natural habitat. The main draw of this area is the Royal Chitwan National Park, one of Asia’s largest forests and home to a variety of rare animals, including the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger and great one-horned rhinoceros, as well as sloth bears, leopards, wild boars, freshwater dolphins, crocodiles, and more than 350 different species of birds.
